Aisha Jamila Hinch is an American actress who is best famous for her performances on the television series The Shield and True Blood. Her versatility has been demonstrated in 2003 with her outstanding appearances on TV shows such as 9-1-1 Detroit The Shield, 1-8-7, and Under the Dome. Her role on Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the first one to grab her the attention of viewers. Her appearance in the biographical movie All the Way as the women's right campaigner Fannie Lou Hammer attracted her into the limelight to the attention of the general public. Hind was also praised for her portrayal of Harriet Tubman in WGN America's classic drama series Underground. The show has been renewed for a third season on 20th Century Fox Television. Hind just finished filming the Hollywood feature Godzilla: King of the Monsters.
