Allyson Felix
Allyson Michelle Felix was born Los Angeles on November 18 1985. Paul Felix, her father was an ordained minister in the Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix worked at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix was an athlete of the highest level and developed a passion of sprinting while in the sprints at Los Angeles Baptist High School. After just 10 weeks of her first attempt, Felix finished second in the 200 meter race of the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix graduated from her high school year in 2003 and was signed by Adidas to become a professional athlete. The following year she enrolled at the University of Southern California studying elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic prize at the 2004's Summer Olympics In Athens Greece. Felix ran 200 meters in 22.18s, setting an all-time junior world record. The 2005 Helsinki World Championships saw her become the youngest woman to win the 200 meter race. In 2007, she won this title and beat her Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix participated at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and consistently placed among the top three athletes at her particular events.
