Allyson Felix

Allyson Michel Felix was born on the 18th of November 1985 in Los Angeles. Paul Felix served as an ordinand within Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix was a natural athlete and discovered her love of sprinting while during her time at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Only 10 weeks after her initial tryout, she placed 2nd in the 200-meter race during the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix has graduated from high school in 2003 signed an agreement with Adidas. After that, she was accepted into at the University of Southern California and pursued a degree in elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic award at 2004 Summer Olympics In Athens Greece. Felix ran 200m in 22.18s and set an all-time junior world record. In the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix was the youngest world champion in the distance of 200 meters. The following year, she was able to defend the title against her Jamaican adversary Veronica Campbell. Felix participated at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and has consistently ranked in the top three of athletes in her respective events.
